On 1 April 2012, changes to the Credit Reporting Privacy Code came into effect. These changes allow Oxford Financial Services Company Limited to share comprehensive information about its customers’ accounts with credit reporting agencies such as:
- repayment history;
- type of credit account;
- amount of credit extended (i.e. credit limit);
- status of account as open or closed, including the dates opened and closed; and
- details of credit provider (i.e. the lender who provided the credit).
